Leveling A Mage

Welcome to my site dedicated to leveling a mage on World of Warcraft.

Leveling A Mage – What Is The Best Way To Level A Mage Fast?

Mages are the most sought after characters on World of Warcraft. They are famous for their burst DPS.

You will notice that mages don’t have the hit points that other characters have, however, the mage has a unique way to control crowds. You’ll need to learn how to master the control aspecct and you will be well on your way to leveling a mage fast.

Mages have three skill trees. Arcane, Fire, and Frost. Frost is the skill that has the most control therefore the one you will want to use to level fast. The other two may damage more, but Frost will allow you to level faster.

Frost is good because you will have alot more control of the situation. Some talents will allow you to actually freeze the enemy for a short time.

Here is a good way I use Frost when leveling a mage. I go to an area with a ton of mobs. I get them around and then use Frost Nova. This will freeze them in one place. Then I follow this up with Blizzard, but make sure you are far enough away when you do this. This causes massive damage.

Here is why it is better to go into a zone with tons of mobs. Start rounding them up about 5 at a time by freezing them and then using Blizzard. You should get about 500 experience points for each group of mobs that you kill. This means that in about 1 hour you can gain 10,000 experience points.

Leveling a mage in WoW may seem tough, especially since mage’s can’t heal themselves, but it’s not as hard as it seems. If you take time and master the control aspect, you will see you can do massive damage in a short time.
