The Frost mage leveling build is the fastest I have seen!
You must be a raving fan of World of Warcraft, I am too! If you want to level a mage to 80 in the fastest time possible then you will want to use Frost as your mage leveling spec.
Frost is simple to use and it allows you to kill off many mobs at the same time which saves a ton of time and gets you leveling faster.
The reason why the Frost mage leveling build works is because it allows you to practically freeze your targets and kill of several mobs at once. This is the control feature that so many people rave about.
Here is the mage leveling build that I use:
Frostbite
This gives you a 15% chance to freeze your enemy in place for 5 seconds. With this talent you will have time to use any spell you want to on your enemy. This is very good against melee enemies. I would spend the first points you earn on this mage leveling build.
Permafrost
This makes you enemies frozen for even longer! You can cause greater damage to your targets and it keeps you safe. This would be one mage leveling build that I would get as soon as possible.
Precision
This increases chances to hit and reduces mana cost. It increases your mana so you can cast more spells. This is good for quick grinding.
Piercing Ice
This can increase the damage of your spells by up to 6%. This can be huge for one spell.
Shatter
This is a must have mage leveling build. This goes along with Frostbite and can enhance your strike chance for all of your spells up to 50% against frozen targets! This also works with Blizzard when you are killing off many mobs at once.
Winter’s Chill
This is another MUST HAVE if you are using a frost mage leveling build. It raises the frost bolt by 8% and raises your other spells up to 5%.
